Melmac (Penis Envy on Homestead) One kind of the perennially popular Penis Envy strain is called Magic Mushrooms. The renowned psychonauts Terrence McKenna and Steven Pollock found and created this miraculous mushroom strain, which is also referred to as Psilocybe Cubensis Melmac or Homestead Penis Envy.

The original Penis Envy strain and Homestead Penis Envy magic mushrooms have the same high potency, but they look very different. The stems of Melmac mushrooms are malformed and have wavy crowns. While “Homestead” was a particularly busy spore distributor in the 1980s, “Melmac” is thought to be a reference to the extraterrestrial planet from the sitcom ALF because of their alien-like look.
